Job Description

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role is essential in supporting the Human Resources department by managing various administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the hiring workflow to include resume/application reviews, coordinating candidates with Department Heads and Supervisors, making offers of employment, pre-boarding coordination, onboarding coordination, and post-boarding follow-up.
  • Responsible for maintaining the recruitment database and employment website.
  • Assists with planning and implementation of employee events.
  • Assists the Director of Human Resources with development, coordination, and implementation of ongoing employee recognition programs.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for general inquiries to the HR department; greets and assists HR visitors.
  • Assists the department with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
  • Creates, maintains, and audits all personnel, medical, and payroll files.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday.
  • This is a temporary role

Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
